Delivering ‘saying goodbye’ as the core message, this piece explores the changes in the dancers' positions and the area of their bodies in contact with each other, specifically depicting a process of people’s separation from being together to gradually becoming apart. The piece's movement vocabulary combines the unique dynamism of contemporary dance with the extended feel of ballet, while also drawing heavily on movement elements and footwork from pairs figure skating in the second part of the piece.
Human emotions are like gravity, endlessly pulling us toward the depths of the heart from which there is no return. Love takes courage, and leaving takes even more. Yet it is precisely through the accumulation of love that we find the strength and determination to keep moving forward. Gravitation is a collection of specific emotions and memories, yet it evokes different feelings in every viewer. It told a story of farewell and the regrets that happened during every kind of it before, but also a fulfillment and a wish that everyone could receive their most proper goodbye.
