Membership Terms & Conditions (Summary)

1) Membership access

• Membership benefits are provided digitally unless otherwise stated.

• Access is granted to the account holder only and is not transferable.

2) Tier inclusion (benefits stack)

• All membership tiers above “Member” automatically include all benefits from the tier(s) below, plus the additional benefits listed for that tier.

• If any benefit descriptions overlap, the higher tier benefit terms apply.

3) Billing and renewal

• Memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) according to the plan selected at checkout.

• Plans renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.

• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; access typically continues until the end of the current paid billing period (unless otherwise required by law or stated at checkout).

4) Refund policy

• Because membership includes immediate access to digital content, resources, and opportunities, payments are generally non-refundable.

• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at membership@elsehereglobal.com within 7 days of the charge and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

5) Opportunities, open calls, and selection-based benefits

• Some benefits (including but not limited to open calls, opportunities, partner perks, submissions, showcases, listings, or clinic slots) are limited-capacity or selection-based.

• Membership does not guarantee acceptance, placement, funding, publication, visas, letters, or any specific outcome.

• We may change deadlines, formats, eligibility requirements, and selection methods for opportunities to ensure fairness and operational feasibility.

6) Partner and third-party benefits

• Partner benefits (events, discounts, priority access, etc.) are provided by third parties and may change without notice.

• We are not responsible for third-party services, scheduling changes, cancellations, or partner policies.

7) Code of conduct and account integrity

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership access for abuse, harassment, fraud, chargeback abuse, sharing member-only materials, or behavior that harms the community.

• Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve issues, except in cases requiring immediate action for safety or fraud prevention.

8) Member-only materials and permitted use

• Member-only resources, toolkits, templates, and content are for personal/professional use by the member.

• You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or share member-only materials publicly or with non-members without written permission.

• You may cite ELSEHERE/STRATUM in your work; do not reproduce substantial content.

9) Changes to benefits and pricing

• We may update benefits, event formats, and program structure to improve quality or sustainability.

• We will aim to keep the spirit and value of each tier; however, specific offerings may evolve.

• Pricing changes apply to future billing cycles and, where possible, we will notify active members in advance.

10) Communication

• By joining, you agree to receive essential membership communications (billing, access, program updates).

• You can opt out of promotional emails while still receiving essential service emails.
