Mercurius and the Psychology of an Art Project
This text examines art practice as a process of self-transformation through the project Self in Flux. Drawing on Jungian psychology, alchemy, and philosophical inquiry, it proposes the “axis” as a dynamic field where tensions between opposites are held and transformed. Through material
experimentation and curatorial staging, the work positions Mercurius as an operative principle, mediating between inner psychic processes and external artistic form.
