ELSEHERE supports artists who are developing careers across countries, languages, institutions, and cultural systems. We work with artists whose practices need stronger public records, clearer professional materials, editorial visibility, and documentation structures that can travel across international contexts.
This program is designed for artists and cultural practitioners building long-term readiness for residencies, grants, fellowships, festivals, exhibitions, academic pathways, publication opportunities, institutional collaborations, and international professional development.
For some artists, this work may also support visa-related or immigration-adjacent documentation needs. ELSEHERE is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, immigration strategy, petition preparation, or filing services. Where appropriate, we may provide professional and project-related documentation in coordination with licensed legal counsel.
The Missing Layer
International artists are often asked to prove the value of their work across systems that do not always understand the language, context, or structure of their practice.
A strong body of work may still appear weak if the materials around it are underdeveloped.
What is often missing is not talent. It is structure.

Evidence that can be read across borders
ELSEHERE works in this layer: between artistic practice and the professional systems that evaluate, invite, publish, fund, present, or legally review that practice.

WHO THIS IS FOR
This program is designed for artists and cultural practitioners who need stronger professional evidence, public record, and institutional legibility across international contexts, including:
International artists entering English-language or U.S.-based cultural contexts
Artists who need clearer CV, bio, statement, portfolio, website, press, publication, or project documentation
Artists preparing for long-term cross-border career development, not only one immediate application
Artists preparing for residencies, grants, fellowships, festivals, exhibitions, academic programs, teaching opportunities, or institutional partnerships
Artists building a public record through interviews, profiles, publication, critical writing, or editorial presentation
Artists with strong work but underdeveloped professional materials

What Makes This Different
This is not generic career coaching, and it is not immigration packaging.
ELSEHERE approaches international artist support through artistic practice first.
We look at the work, the record around the work, and the professional systems that need to understand the work. Our goal is to help artists build materials that are accurate, credible, usable, and connected to real practice.
We do not create false records, fabricated publications, artificial awards, or misleading materials.
We build structure around what is already there, and help artists develop the record that should exist around serious work.
Relationship to Legal Counsel
Some artists come to this program while preparing for O-1B, EB-1A, Global Talent, or other international pathways.
ELSEHERE may support the professional and documentation layer: artist profiles, project records, publication materials, professional dossiers, representation letters, and evidence organization connected to real artistic practice.
Legal strategy, eligibility assessment, petition preparation, and filing must be handled by licensed immigration counsel.
ELSEHERE does not guarantee visa outcomes, legal results, institutional decisions, residency selection, grant awards, publication, or public opportunities.

HOW THE PATHWAY WORKS
Initial Clinic
A one-to-one strategy session to assess your practice, current materials, and most urgent priorities. 45 to 60 minutes. We review your current materials, including portfolio, statement, CV, press record, and website, and assess where you stand relative to grants, residencies, publication, and visa-facing needs. This is where most people begin.
Evidence Sprint
A focused audit and roadmap to identify gaps, opportunities, and the strongest next steps. For artists who need a complete picture of their evidence gaps. We audit your materials, organize them against relevant categories, and deliver a prioritized action plan with clear next steps.
Build Phase
We develop the editorial record, supporting materials, and public-facing structure around the work. Based on the gap analysis, we move into targeted support. This may include editorial development, CV and press materials, critical review, digital profile building, and opportunity matching. Duration depends on scope.
Handoff
You receive a more coherent package and a clearer route into your next application, opportunity, or long-term pathway. When materials are ready, we can refer you to independent immigration attorneys who can take the legal case forward with a stronger evidence package in hand. Legal services remain separate and independent.
SCOPE & ACCESS
Professional Scope
ELSEHERE is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or immigration filing services.
Our work focuses on professional materials, public record, editorial presence, and evidence architecture that may support future applications.

FAQ
Do I need to be applying for a visa already?
No. Many artists enter this program before they are ready to file. The work often begins with evidence gaps, profile weakness, or the need for stronger public record.
Does booking a clinic guarantee publication in STRATUM?
No. Publication is selective and editorially reviewed. A clinic helps us assess fit, readiness, and the most useful next step.
Do you provide legal advice or filing services?
No. ELSEHERE is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or immigration filing services. Where appropriate, we may refer artists to independent immigration attorneys.
Can I request a reduced rate?
Yes. You may indicate financial constraints in the intake form. Limited reduced-rate placements may be considered in select cases.
Can I book this if I mainly need portfolio or profile support?
Yes. Many artists come to us first for portfolio refinement, profile strengthening, public record building, or editorial framing before they are application-ready.
What happens after the initial clinic?
After the clinic, we may recommend a 30-day evidence sprint, a publication or profile development pathway, or a more customized support structure depending on your goals and current materials.
