Open Calls

Rigorous. Independent. Artist-centered.

Editorial integrity

We are editorially independent and culturally attuned, offering context that values depth over popularity.

Selective process

We maintain a selective approach to ensure the quality and significance of every project we support.

Lasting visibility

Our platforms are designed for long-term visibility and archival value, not just momentary exposure.

Global perspective

We work across borders, languages, and communities to support artists in a connected cultural field.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

We’re here to help you find the right path.

If your work sits between editorial publication, open call submission, and longer-term development, begin with an inquiry or start with one of our artist clinics.

For international artists building public-facing evidence, editorial visibility, and long-term professional readiness across O-1B, EB-1A, UK Global Talent, and broader international career pathways.

ELSEHERE helps artists build the professional architecture behind applications, publications, and immigration-facing evidence through evidence mapping, editorial development, profile building, and strategic public record support.

Most artists doing serious work are expected to produce the language around that work entirely on their own, for applications, for institutions, for visa cases, while still making the work itself.

This program was built to close that gap. Through ELSEHERE's editorial process, selected artists develop a written or multimedia feature that can support both public visibility and professional positioning over the long term.

All selected features are published in STRATUM, a bilingual journal registered with a U.S. ISSN and held in the Library of Congress. Publication here carries weight beyond visibility — it creates a durable, citable record.
