ELSEHERE Announces the Artists and Works Selected for Entangled Garden 2026
From October 8–11, a group of artists working across performance, moving image, installation, sound, and hybrid practice will transform Le Petit Versailles through four days of site-responsive work.
ELSEHERE is pleased to announce the artists and works selected for Entangled Garden, the 2026 New York Experimental Arts Festival.
Taking place October 8–11 at Le Petit Versailles, the program brings together work in performance, moving image, installation, sound, and interdisciplinary practice. The selected projects approach the garden from distinct artistic positions, while sharing a serious engagement with site, duration, material, embodiment, and public encounter.

Each name belongs to a practice that extends beyond these four days. We invite audiences, curators, and fellow artists to look further into their work and continue the conversations begun at the festival.

The final selection was developed as a curatorial composition rather than a collection of independent presentations. Each project has been considered in relation to the physical conditions of Le Petit Versailles and to the other works appearing across the four-day program.
Some works will occupy a specific time and location. Others will remain present, recur, or change over the course of the festival. Together, they establish a program that moves between concentrated acts of attention and longer spatial experiences.
The selected artists represent different disciplines, working methods, and cultural contexts. Their practices do not conform to a single aesthetic position, nor are they being presented as illustrations of a predetermined theme. The coherence of the program comes from the questions the works bring into the site and from the relations that may emerge among them.
