Selection is now underway for Entangled Garden, the 2026 New York Experimental Arts Festival, presented by ELSEHERE International Arts Nexus and hosted at Le Petit Versailles.

This year’s open call invited proposals in performance, moving image, installation, sound, and interdisciplinary practice. The review is focused on work that can engage the garden as a particular artistic and public context: a compact outdoor site with its own architecture, ecology, social history, and patterns of movement.

Each eligible proposal is being considered in relation to the work itself and to the composition of the festival as a whole. The process takes into account artistic rigor, the relationship between form and site, technical feasibility, audience experience, and the contribution each project could make to a four-day program shared with other artists.

Applicants will receive decisions directly before the public announcement of the selected program. We are grateful to every artist who entrusted ELSEHERE with their work and research.
