WHITE MIST Studio

Multidisciplinary Creative Studio

Beijing, China

WHITE MIST is an independent art studio dedicated to contemporary and cross–media practice, using “mist” as a metaphor to trace the shifting lines between visibility and obscurity, memory and atmosphere. Working fluidly across moving image, installation, sound and spatial experiences, the studio creates immersive environments that hover between reality and hallucination.

WHITE MIST is particularly interested in the condition of the individual within a rapidly changing society, and in moments that resist precise verbal description: a fleeting light, an overlooked corner, a suspended emotional state. Through long–term observation and material gathering, the studio re-composes fragments of the everyday into poetic, spatially charged works that invite viewers to relocate their own bodies, memories and sense of place.

Beyond its own productions, WHITE MIST actively collaborates with curators, institutions and practitioners from other disciplines, exploring how image and spatial storytelling can open new possibilities within exhibitions, public programs and cross-disciplinary platforms.
