About the Artist

Alexandra Light is a choreographer, dancer, and former Principal Dancer with Texas Ballet Theater. Her work uses ballet as a structure to question memory, identity, ecology, and inheritance across stage, film, and site-responsive forms.
Her choreography has been commissioned by Texas Ballet Theater, Steps on Broadway Conservatory, Martha Graham Dance Company through a TBT mainstage commission, Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre, and others. Her teaching emphasizes musical clarity, anatomical care, and expressive precision.
