About the Artist
Anya started dance at 16 years old and graduted from Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (BE) with Bachelor in Dance. During her studies, she did her internship with Ultima Vez and after has worked internationally with different choreographers such as Gregory Maqoma for Companhia Instavel, Eastman with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui among latest.
While working as freelancer, she teaches dance classes and workshops, and collaborates with musicians Colour Collective " Cello and a reader" and an outdoor solo "Sur le Chemin" , Toronto. Lately she toured Nomad/Eastman and is focused at developing her artistic vision and her own work.
