About the Artist
Danlei Xu is a dance artist and choreographer, holding a Master’s degree in Dance from the United States and a Doctor of Performing Arts from Malaysia. Her works have been presented internationally, including at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and platforms associated with the Avignon Festival.
Xu’s choreography has received multiple international awards, including First Prize at the International Dance Art Competition (Russia), First Prize and Outstanding Choreographer Award at the GRACE Choreographic Arts Festival (France), and First Prize at the European Competition of Culture and Arts (London).
Her works have also been recognized in major competitions in Australia, the United States, and China, alongside awards from national platforms such as the Guangdong Youth Dance Exhibition.
