About the Artist
Rosanna Xiaoyan Zhou is a Chinese digital media artist exploring culture, stereotype, orientalism, and the making of “others.” Drawing from her experiences living in different cultures, her work confronts interrogative encounters through sarcasm and refusal, reclaiming self-definition and resisting biased gazes that seek to define belonging.
