Peng Yu Contemporary Dance Company was founded in 2017 and is registered in Shenzhen, China. Under its umbrella are Grain Warehouse Theater in Foshan (Guangdong), Cloud Warehouse Theater and Dancers’ House in Dali (Yunnan), and the Haifeng Creation Base in Shanwei (Guangdong).
The company is committed to a diversified approach to contemporary art, integrating cross-disciplinary practices and focusing on improvisational choreography, improvisation performance, and co-created improvisation platforms.
Looking ahead, Peng Yu Contemporary Dance Company plans to collaborate with international art collectives to develop overseas art spaces and dance studios, supporting artistic creation, performances, workshops, residencies, dance film projects, and events such as the Wuwu International Dance Festival.
