This work is a collaboration between Chinese artist Li Ning and Norwegian artist Erikk (currently based in the Netherlands). It centers on sand and earth, time, civilization, the differences between East and West, and the theme of life itself.

Two amnesiac human bodies appear on screen. Were they once extraterrestrial astronauts? Have they really fallen onto Earth? How will they survive, and where are they heading? A distant history may in fact be the present. A magnificent landscape may be nothing more than an illusion. The creators are just like us, standing before these questions with the same confusion and uncertainty.
