Curated Multimedia Feature

Overview

This format is for artists who want their public record to move beyond text alone.

It begins with a close reading of your practice, your artist statement, your CV, your current series, and the direction your work is taking now. From there, ELSEHERE develops a clear interview structure and question list, then builds the feature outward through live conversation, transcription-based publication, and expanded public-facing presentation.

This format is especially useful for artists whose work benefits from voice, rhythm, tone, and presence. It allows a more dimensional encounter with the practice while still producing a written record that can travel into portfolios, grant applications, residency proposals, institutional introductions, and visa documentation.

Best for

  • artists who want a stronger public-facing feature across video and text

  • artists whose work benefits from live conversation, spoken nuance, and presence

  • artists building a fuller portfolio for galleries, grants, residencies, and curatorial review

  • artists preparing public-facing materials for O-1, EB-1A, global talent visa, and longer international pathways

  • artists who want not only publication, but stronger circulation

Why?

This format gives artists something many standard interviews do not: movement between forms.

The conversation becomes a live record. The live record becomes written publication. The written publication can then support the artist in more formal settings. With the expanded options, the work is also given a stronger visual frame and wider circulation.

This is particularly valuable for artists whose practices are nuanced, process-driven, or difficult to flatten into a short statement.
